Women’s Soccer Preview

Women’s Soccer looking towards winning season.

The Illinois Central women’s soccer program has 17 games this regular season, with a majority of those games coming in the month of September. 

The Cougars travel to Raleigh, North Carolina to play against the University of North Carolina Club team on Sept. 2nd. Then, travel to Wilmington to face off against Cape Fear College on Sept. 4th.

The Cougars are bringing back 9 players from last years team, so this years’ squad has some leadership, but the Cougars also have 8 talented freshmen ready to see what college soccer is all about.

Dilyara Coovert, from Washington, IL.

Emily Daymude, from West Peoria, IL.

Sarah Dismang, from Chillicothe, IL.

Audrey Duley, from Pekin, IL.

America Garcia, from Peoria, IL.

Samantha Morgan, from Metamora, IL.

Cassidy Waltz, from Morton, IL.

 

The Cougars first home game falls on Sunday, Sept. 11th at 12:00 pm. Following with another home game on Tuesday, Sept. 13th at 7:00 pm.
